If you've created a SkillMarket profile, but it has not yet been approved or activated, your account may still be waiting for the interview and approval process.
How the Approval Process Works
Before a new consultant profile can be approved, the consultant must complete an interview with a member of the Optimum team.
Interview opportunities are scheduled based on business needs and team availability and may occur at varying intervals throughout the year. Because of this, SkillMarket Support cannot provide a specific timeline for when an interview opportunity may become available.
If you are selected for an interview, you will receive an email at the address associated with your SkillMarket account with information about next steps.
Following a successful interview and approval, your SkillMarket profile will be activated and you will be able to access available project opportunities.
What Do I Need to Do?
No additional action is required while your profile is awaiting the interview and approval process.
Please:
- Keep the information in your SkillMarket profile current.
- Make sure you continue to have access to the email address associated with your account.
- Monitor your email account for future communications from Optimum or SkillMarket.
- Do not create another SkillMarket profile while waiting for your existing profile to be reviewed.
Still Need Help?
If you have already completed an interview and your account status appears to be incorrect, submit a SkillMarket Support ticket so the team can review your account.
When submitting your ticket, include your full name and the email address associated with your SkillMarket profile. Be sure to indicate when your interview took place and provide details about your status and the concerns you may have.
Do not include passwords, verification codes, government identification numbers, identification images, or other sensitive personal information in your ticket.
