Beginning August 7, 2026
SkillMarket is introducing a new Secure Sign-In process powered by Microsoft.
This update changes how you sign in to SkillMarket. It does not change your SkillMarket profile, assignments, skills, experience, or project history.
What's Changing?
Beginning August 7:
- Existing consultants will complete a one-time Secure Sign-In update.
- You can choose how you want to sign in:
- Email and password
- Apple
- Future sign-ins will use the secure sign-in method you selected during the one-time update.
- If you choose email and password, Microsoft will manage your password and verification process.
What's Staying the Same?
The following will not change:
- Your SkillMarket profile
- Your assignments
- Your skills and experience
- Your project history
- The SkillMarket website and bookmark
You are not creating a new SkillMarket profile. You are simply updating how you securely sign in to your existing account.
Why Is SkillMarket Making This Change?
The new Secure Sign-In process provides:
- Better account security
- More sign-in options
- A simpler sign-in experience after the one-time update
- A secure foundation for future improvements
