What is the difference between a Principal Trainer (PT), Credentialed Trainer (CT), and End User Trainer (EUT)? | Principal Trainers (PTs) provide overall training leadership and oversight. Depending on the engagement, PTs may lead instruction, mentor trainers, coordinate training operations, and serve as a key liaison between Optimum, the client, and Epic. Credentialed Trainers (CTs) are Epic-credentialed and are responsible for delivering or supporting Epic training using approved curricula. CTs reinforce standardized workflows, support learner understanding, and escalate issues appropriately rather than operating outside of scope. End User Trainers (EUTs) support the classroom environment by assisting learners with navigation, logistics, and flow. EUTs do not teach content, interpret workflows, or make training or build decisions. In summary: PTs lead and oversee training efforts. CTs teach or support instruction.
